Albert Pujols Family Foundation

Dominican Republic Humanitarian Efforts

The R.H. Crossland Foundation is deeply committed to the humanitarian work of Albert and DeDee Pujols in the Bateys (settlements) outside Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Home to Haitian refugees facing extreme poverty—no running water, minimal food, zero sanitation, and untreated medical conditions—these communities need transformative support. The Crossland Foundation has pledged a three-year commitment of $100,000 to sustain the work Albert has pioneered, including:

  • Wheelchair provision for individuals with mobility challenges
  • Medical beds and supplies for families in desperate need
  • Bakery construction to create jobs, income, and food security
  • Medical mission support for life-saving surgical interventions and dental needs
  • Educational and athletic programs for at-risk youth

Through this partnership, we’ve witnessed extraordinary change: families gaining hope, children receiving proper care, and entire communities building sustainable futures. The smiles of gratitude from those we serve inspire us daily. Learn more at pujolsfamilyfoundation.org.

Special Needs Support

The R.H. Crossland Foundation partners with the Albert Pujols Family Foundation to support children with special needs, including those with Down syndrome. Each year, we sponsor Albert’s annual golf event at Pelican Hills Golf Club in Newport Beach, California—a gathering of compassionate supporters dedicated to enriching the lives of children facing developmental challenges. Your participation makes a direct impact. For event details and tax-deductible donation information, contact us today.
